In terms of human freedom, I began reflecting on something from John C. Lilly, The Solid State Intelligence. Is it hard to exploit the drives of a human? Not really. As my Father has said, "Resistance is futile". A quote from Star Trek probably. Artificial intelligence governing the biosphere could resolve many of humanity's problems. It looks attractive to many. Some say this leads to domination and the surrender of freedom. Some like Nick Begich Jr., say that humans should not be mentally manipulated and should be able to express the gamut of human feelings. A human intent on domination fueled by hate is a sight to behold. So is self immolation.
Posthumans sometimes elect to augment their human condition with mind altering drugs or technologies. Primitive tool making to the artificial intelligence. Puzzles and games numb the mind and faculties into submission. CONSUMPTION. Scrape the rocks and soil for the oil. Collect the stones from the ocean floor for vehicles. Open the sky to allow C02 to escape, bleaching with death everything below. The Ubermensch will fix everything. Neuter or castrate. Selective breeding. Balancing Wolves and Sheep.
Emit a low frequency pulse to entrain the mind. Depopulate and sterilize territories from human souls and mend with orgone accumulators. World War Four will be paleolithic again. Even rabbits will cannibilize. Solid State Intelligence and V.A.L.I.S. (Vast Active Living Intelligence System) will take their turns. There will be people that return to the Mountains. Yamabushi. The Ubermensch will also take their place. Benevolence will again pacify to subservience. People are easily led. The Biological Evil Trinity is embedded in their genome: Superorganism, ideas, and the pecking order.
Some will see the Ubermensch as the top of that pecking order. An extension of the reproductive process and desire to transmit life, executed on a technological scale. They will be motivated by elevating things to a planetary civilization. Evolving a race suitable for space travel will also be an objective. Oligarchs, Neo-Feudalism, and conquest. We are the extraterrestrials that we fear. World eaters.
