There is a modern preoccupation with what the Kabbalah calls the Ruach. Basically, this is the realm of memory and cognitive dominance. The Ruach is subject to disintegration and decay. Some spawn parasitic thoughtforms, but most will die. Even before you do. I have been hanging with a 90 year old man and have witnessed this. It becomes a preoccupation for some many people not unlike Death itself.
This has placed the Ruach on a higher tier of interest for modern society. After all, how can you function in society if you have already become its excrement? There is a supposed state beyond Ruach that can survive Death. The Neshama. I have a newfound interest in developing this side of the soul. In the East, there are powers one can obtain through altered states and they are called siddhis. I have discovered that some of the siddhis I have experienced are subject to disintegration and decay just like the Ruach. Hence, it is recommended that you transcend them and move beyond on the path.
Restoring a dualistic perspective involved for me exposure to Taoism and turning towards elements of Neshama developing practices. One of them I am doing this year, is the Counting of the Omer, a Jewish practice, with tarot cards. I found a book that guides you through the 49 Day experiment and plan on using it to further explore Jewish Mysticism. I am also awaiting a Thelemic book on Taoist Shamanism and the I ching. I am taking them with me on my trip to Houston. Celebrating the Ruach with higher development as well. Practicing both forms of divination.
Will this leave me as an old laying out the cards or the sticks, looking into a useless future? I don't know. Time will tell. If you live until you are self sufficient, you will again make a transition into dependency. Soon, you won't even be left to the sympathy of suicide, you will be at the mercy of those around you. They may even let you wear your pants backwards like I did Grandpa. For the record they were pajama pants. Life's not so bad for the 90 year old. He is surrounded by great care. Not so, for many out there. Mostly a bunch of disintegrating liabilities caged in facilities. Grandpa is in my shop going through tools.
Maybe they will set me at a bench in a bizarre toy shop named Scanner Darkly and let me assemble wooden crafts and origami. Maybe they will cure the Ruach in my lifetime. My current bets are on the Neshama. My 49 day experiment just turned into 49 weeks. Celebrating on the fiftieth. I start on the 7th of January with my book and new Hermetic Tarot Deck. This will last the course of the year. I originally thought I would do it according to the Jewish calendar, but was swayed by another method outlined in the Book. This way, I follow a course of 50 weeks. I can hold onto a reading per week.
I will continue with the I Ching also. This new book will be a good new read. This year will also mark a new round with The Goetia. Some of this will be incorporated into the 50 week cycle as well. As far as correspondence, Skinner is my primary source for Qabalistic Goetic reference. Many claim there is little connection. My work will provide more information. I continue to devote myself to them and their positions. Goetic work is remarkable yet much of it is esoteric in explanation.
The Goetic Spirits yield results. It is a formula that works for me. I have a basic framework for superficial usage, but I am quickly descending into more elaborate processes. I can now perform the music I have theorized about due to the secrets revealed by The Goetia. This year is a turning point magically. Much more praxis. It is number 23 this year. Let it be one for the enigma.
I am looking to further my production skills with the Akai MPC Live until I acquire a Squarp Pyramid. I have a series of production videos I am going to go through on the Akai. So far I am recording the Keys to the Qliphoth. 22 tracks of experimentation with sonic scrying. My method so far doesn't employ ceremonial technique. I am able to go directly into trance and hook up and record. Some ritual features exist, and a lot of smoking is involved. BRAP: to get high hook up and record-Skinny Puppy
I have been playing guitar regularly and usually plug into my stack. I have about 13 pedals I select from for effects. I have been experimenting with a looper on guitar. Gives the piece of music a "Swans" vibe. I am recording the Hydrasynth in 22 E.D.O. and usually relying on a drone. After all it is the Keys to the Qliphoth. I recently discovered, instead of reading the manual, the vibrato feature of the Hydrasynth's keybed. Impressive. The whole machine doesn't disappoint. I am happy it is in the studio and I haven't even gone through all the presets.
Back to trance, I feel Kenneth Grant's interpretation and writings on Dali's Critical Paranoiac Method are great. They essentially describe a state in which revelation approaches apotheosis. This is a dimension where I thrive. I am an Enneagram number Five. It lends itself to this method as outlined in Grant's Outside the Circles of Time. One of my favorites. The Sorcerer is described in the Magician aspect of Moore and Gillette's work. The Sorcerer is an Artist.
Household Gods. City Gods. Hell Money.

I have chosen a Household God for my Kingdom and honor this being with offerings at my altar. I had consulted the Dominoes via the Yoruban Divination book I got and it revealed that there was lack of a household God in my home. It was causing Chaos in a negative way. So I began leaving offerings to the Household God and prayed it would reveal itself. Which it indeed did. I then knew whom I was to honor and ask for protection for my loved ones. It took about two days of meditation and manifestation but I was able to deduce the right one.
The Gods and the Worshippers are two sides to the same coin. Binary. To Quarters. It unfolds as you employ order to the phenomenon around you. Even the King is subject to old age, sickness, and death,Unless given the promise to Nuit. The Gods earn our envy for living longer and dominating nature. In the East they have City Gods and Hell money. Their Gods can die and so can the living and currency is given for magickal power. CONSUME. Acquire your magickal tools and employ magick. While you can. Spare no expense.
Exert dominance over your situation and construct a framework that you can rest assured has your back when the time comes. The time that comes is to the squirrel a matter of fact. Have vision beyond the Seasons and enjoy your reign. Saturn is coming to collect and harvest. Spilling your seed to the fertile future just beyond your grasp. The dust that will collect will layer into time again. Returning to Carbon for answers. Like Saturn, you will feed off your Children. Returning again and again like a cougar to a kill, you will rediscover that which has been buried in the Earth.
You are the slaves. The ancestors meant to perch the young on the precipice of knowledge. The One's that go beyond Earth. Man is destined to design another in his image. Evolution does not forbid this in terms of designers. The implications of this have been recorded in fiction and legend.
Ever have a problem where the solution requires great effort? Today is that day. I am stuck and the answers are there. They just require patience, study, and a relationship with the spirits.
