Psychic Test 203

A few years back I made the trip to Portugal to visit and see family. One afternoon with my Aunt Augusta and my Mother, we went to a monastery. The line going in was long and I had no idea what the place was about, I was along for the ride as they say.

When we got in, we went through a few sections then went into the giftstore. Suddenly, I was reminded by thought of how Sir Richard Francis Burton was interested in the life of a Portuguese poet. I was perplexed because I couldn't remember the name of the Portuguese author, so I asked my Mother and Aunt if they knew of whom I could be talking about. My Aunt and Mother agreed it was probably Camões. I then  asked if I might find a translation of his writings and my Aunt glances on a shelf and sees one.

I tell her thank you and I purchased the copy I have in my library today. We left the gift shop and descended a flight of stairs where stood before me, the tomb of Camões. I thought the instance so strange that I had my Mother take a photograph with me in front of the tomb. I have a psychic connection to Burton and Camões. I had been completely unaware that this monastery had any connection to the poet Camões. I had not read or even asked about the place nor were there any photos or descriptions around the building.

Would this be synchronicity or coincidence? A message from the Earth Coincidence Control Office or E.C.C.O. as Lilly called it? Today is Saturn's day, where I embrace the tin foil hat.

Bodies.

Adolf Hitler and Osama Bin Laden were myths. Its Saturn's day: Tin Foil Hat.

The news of the passing of my friend Alicia Elizabeth Jones inspired me to make contact. I wrote some smoke letters to her on joss paper I bought in our town's metaphysical shop. She inspired me to create a music lodge. SO far I have a game in mind for the 23rd. I figured going with the TOPY date would yield results favorable to the outcome. I took a piece of audio/visual material to draw inspiration for the first game. The name of the lodge is based on films so I naturally decided on a short narrative to go off of. Season 5 episode 18 of the Twilight Zone: "Black Leather Jackets".

A.J. guided me on this endeavor. I write this for the record. Do not believe in death. It is a myth. You can work with the Dead. The art of necromancy ensures this activity. They operate as phantasms, just below perception, in subtle impressions or guiding thoughts. All I can say is those that cross the threshold beyond space-time can exert influence and communicate. For how long? I do not know. Some say the Nephesh exists for six weeks, and others say the Bardos are crossed after 49 days. Both are hiding a riddle: Those beyond space-time can perceive past-current-and future.

If you have unfinished business with the Dead, write them a smoke letter. Make your amends and promises. With their time, they will become allies. Energy cannot be created or destroyed.

Screen time.

Evocation and physical manifestation is something I can attest to. It happens and all too often is cast aside or denied by the mind. I do not feel compelled to evoke to physical manifestation at this time. Nor do I find it necessary for working with The Goetia.

A Palero in the Palo Mayombe Tradition, is eventually guided by the spirits themselves as to what is needed to perform an operation. Most of this is a closely guarded secret, that the profane must be ignorant of. The difference from the former to the profane is in respect. A relationship of respect to the spirits of the Goetia. They serve a dimension of order and hierarchy comparable to that of mankind.

Diverting The Goetia from their slumber or affairs to manifest is for a novice. Get it over and done with. Sometimes the self denial becomes so great that the operator continues evoking to manifestation again and again and is still left with doubt. After processing events with the Goetia, some things become clearer from our observations from the records of events we keep. The journal is essential.

I have devoted time, energy, money, and research into The Goetia and found it more than satisfying. It has elements of mystery that still fascinates me. It is a definite part of my practice. For that, I am appreciative.

I have read God Star and found it compelling. I wish to further explore the Saturnian ideas with more research. I have a friend that turned me on to the Aquatic ape theory. It is something I will explore when I get to it.

So far I have almost completed one half of my album Keys to The Qliphoth. It must be said that getting proper tools for execution is essential. It took time and money, not to mention the selling of gear, to get a studio that has been so easy to work with. The Hydrasynth was perfect. The X1L3 and lyra have been great to work with. The baritone guitar has been a great tool for sewing together the noise.

There is a tool that I still need to experiment with: The Pyramid from Squarp. It is able to generate the polyrhythms I desire for my compositions in the future. Something my Akai MPC Live is not capable of doing without the Pyramid. Currently, there is a lack of polyrhythm generating hardware. It may change in the future. I was delighted to find that the drumbrute impact had a polyrhythm function, but it turned out to be inaccurately labeled (polymeters).

The idea of modulating the breath intrigues me. Horn players and singers do this and it is a very unusual thing to observe sometimes. I had a moment where I was listening to Miles Davis and became aware of how he was using his breath. I started rehearsing singing in my house while alone to experiment with this capacity. I have enjoyed listening to some extreme singers in the past: Mike Patton(Adult themes for voice), Diamanda Galas(Litanies of Satan), Chris Barnes, and others. Developing your own vocal dimension is something I haven't explored fully.

It is something I want to do with the next half of my record.

Apparently, the Waterside Ape book goes into this capacity for breath holding.

I have two microphones currently in my set up. My studio has minimalized in a good way. The only things I would add currently is X1L3 shard and the pyramid. Rhys told me about the Really Nice Compressor which could work in the vocal signal chain. He is all about good compression.

I have done some painting, some music, some video art, now I am working at authorship. It pretty much dominates my preoccupations at this time. I have a couple of projects I am interested in completing. One of which I want to secure a proper writing interface. After looking at a screen for so much time I found the computer method tiresome and inappropriate. I decided to look into how other writers prepared their work. Some hand wrote, some had typewriters and prefered a manuscript, and one even used 3x5 index cards for drafting.

I found the Freewrite Smart Typewriter as the appropriate instrument for one of my compositions. Maybe more. I was thinking of a graphic novel initially but now I am thinking in terms of a novel. I still want it to have some illustrated elements. I have been researching computer generated images for this purpose. Wacom has a Mobile Studio Pro which is the high end of this technology, getting away from a computer of course. I have had a Wacom tablet since college. I have seen good computer manipulated graphics (Dave Mckean) and mention not the names of the countless shitty ones.

I don't know why I always gravitate to hardware after years working with computers. I was reccommended ChatGPT for writing purposes. I have delved into it and am not that interested. I did see it pop up in an unrelated video I was watching after looking into it though. So maybe it is something I might otherwise overlook. All these dead p.c.'s and obsolete Mac bodies accumulate and you realize the soul of the machine is escaping its own death cycle through ingenuity. I still prefer album art booklets and cd's over the digital version. Paper books over virtual. Home phone over cell phone.
