"You don't belong to you. You belong to the Universe and you're here to serve."-Buckminster Fuller
greg anderson from SunnO))) "[Life Metal is] sort of a personal reflection of my life as well. Having children and being a father has really changed me in a lot of ways—and for the better in some ways—but I have a different outlook on things now. Trying to be selfless in my life is important, and that's changed me and changed my mood and how I'm thinking about music and how I'm writing at the moment."
"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.
Talent will not:Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent
Genius will not:
Unrewarded genius is almost a proverb
Education will not:
The world is full of educated derelicts
Persistence and Determination alone are omnipotent"-Israel Regardie
Day Six of my 56 day journey. Eight weeks. Basic training for The Lodge. Using the Eight Circuit Brain book by Antero Alli as a guide. A requirement for membership.
Colors: "Another possibility is cheap, easy outfits. It’s accessible to everyone who’s willing to make the investment for a patch. That’s why, in the beginning, industrial [style] was old camo and clothing, and it didn’t matter if it got dirty. Actually, being dirty was part of the function. This time, it’s a leather jacket or a denim vest. Slice off the sleeves, put a patch on it, and then decorate it how you wish with your own particulars. It gives you instant recognition and a very easy form of entry into groups, so that you see it and know that these people are probably going to have very similar thoughts to you. "Brain change willed is as close to magick as we're going to get and let's us bypass the middle classes tendency to ingest drugs (alcohol) to escape present and future time by regressing and living in the great unwashed mires of the status quo."- Angel Tech
"In Australia and New Zealand, tall poppy syndrome refers to successful people being criticised. This occurs when their peers believe they are too successful, or are bragging about their success.[1][2] Intense scrutiny and criticism of such a person is termed as "cutting down the tall poppy"."

Schedule: M-F Archetype work week. Sat-Sun rest and fun.
I started Laughter Yoga by joining a club and doing it for thirty minutes daily. When my internet is not stable I do it alone. Tiphareth is Laughter.
I have been taking a throat singing course by Jerry Walsh over at the didgeproject website. It has been going very well. My inspiration has been Atilla Csihar and his solo project Void ov Voices. Also Diamanda Galas. I have stopped smoking cigarettes and my lung capacity is improving due to the laughter yoga and singing course. "Life Metal".
The thirteenth turn is a reference to a noose. The throat and neck is the location for Daath, Knowledge and Expression. I learned in one of my books that this point is also the source of lucid dreaming. Singing has helped me activate this Vishuddha chakra and confront my self conscious metaprogramming regard this form of expression.
In Michelle Belanger's Psychic Vampire Codex, there are three types in the caste system: The Warriors, The Priests, and The Counselors. I happen to be a Priest which is described as being the least connected with the body. Along with a physical fitness regimen (according to somatotype), I have decided to engage the body in physical expression: Dance. I am taking an eight week course on Maori Kapa Haka. Along with this medium of physical expression I have been doing physical therapy exercises and back yoga for my ailments.
As for writing, I have taken up writing poetry. I am inspired by Rimbaud's Letter to the Seer which is the title of my poetry book. Who knows, maybe I will generate some lyrical content.
Both Dr. Glasser (Reality therapy) and Gurdjieff talk about Doing, Thinking, and Feeling.
My decision to stick with this eight week plan is an attempt to engage all three of these brains.
I recently had a visit from a drunken uncle violence that left me recoiling in horror and determined to seek a new direction. For most of my life I have been avoiding feelings through use of drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes. Seeing as how my enneagram type is based on the heart center, I discovered I was running away from growth and integration. Fear of experiencing these feelings and emotions had enslaved me into a self destructive pattern. I have decided that Fear, Anger, and Sadness (the negative trio of emotions) had been running my life long enough. Ironically, Fear would not define me but actually it would be a part of my new magical motto for my current work: Fear Liath (Grey Man)
My emotional territorial circuit needs conditioning and if at all possible, re-imprinting. This course of work is an attempt to do something about it.
I have started a collaboration with my friend Nathan. I am painting a triptych for his band's album. The three paintings represent Fear, Anger, and Sadness. Part of a anti-hero journey in three acts.
My partner has discovered the joy of enjoying her own music gear devices. The house has been resonating with experimentation. The energy of Spring is upon us.
