The One shot recordings

In Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash, the worlds music is highly produced and perfect. I make recordings that are improvisational and not rehearsed to the point of perfection. What I have been trying to capture is a solid audio take that catches -the moment- something sticks to the web of imagination. So I grab an instrument, program the beats (or play them), and loosely play along then abruptly stop. I am making a live arrangement, usually with a single take. Then I can layer and mix.

I prefer the qualities of doing these layers of improvisation and continue to record this way. My Rhizome Connectome track "lime" is a good example of bass guitar used in this context.

I have several paintings I need to photograph and upload to my gallery. Some of them were well executed and others show resistance to the creative process. Most were produced by way of the critical paranoiac method described by Dali. Typically my music recording goes the same route. Writing too. I think I will continue the one shot experiments for a while longer. They have really impressed me as a form of channeling energies.

I recorded an album called Sylphs which was my intentional scryings utilizing audio and instruments bound to the zodiacal notation standard. It is something I am considering selling as merch on bandcamp, but only to produce funds for the next record. The next record will be utilizing microtonal tuning in 22 E.D.O. In the meantime, I am working on a cassette EP recorded on a Fostex X 14. My favorite four track recording medium thus far. This is my second unit.

Working with microtonality is something I really want to do. There are VST instruments which are microtonal, but I prefer hardware GUI over computer and found something else.
49 keys would be ideal for Heptarchy Workings. Tuned to 22 E.D.O. and played for each invocation.

Evocations also. I am re-reading Aleister Crowley and the Ouija Board by J. Edward Cornelius. This tool is something I am considering designing for my own use. I prefer the planchette over the pendulum. And even the keyboard of the Hydrasynth uses the Dactyls. For concentration I found a recommendation in Mastering the Mystical Heptarchy for the photosonix 100. I looked into it and found a different product which was better designed.

With audio generators you can enhance the trance experience. Roughly fifteen minutes is needed to entrain the brain. A meaningless sensory overload is useful before attempting contact. A simultaneous hypnotic induction may be played in conjunction to further aid the proper brain state. After sitting in asana and letting the audio and visual stimulus begin to elapse one will harness a deeper awareness.

Burning henbane seeds is something that witches and sorcerers have been utilizing for some time. It is generally not mentioned in detail as to how this is done, but there is an excellent book on a serial killer who used henbane seeds in his seances. Later he resorted to henbane injections. He was so dependent on it that he was allowed to administer an injection in the presence of the police just so he could remain mentally clear.

I still have yet to read his hypnosis scripts in the book. I am cautious when it comes to ingesting the word virus as William S. Burroughs calls it. Especially the words of a hypnotist that is advanced in training. I was taught hypnosis via an Ericksonian school. Under Dr. Doug Yost. Dr. Doug was an excellent clinician and would never hesitate to tell you your odds with hypnosis and turn people away because they simply were not ready to implement a change. He was very ethical that way.

Dr. Doug also had an excellent hypnosis stage show that I helped with for several events. We spent many nights chain smoking and drinking coffee. He taught me much regarding scripts and nuerolinguistic programming. I used to record my hypnosis tapes and sell them to clients. It was a long time ago. Some favorite quotes: "I can't means you don't want to or you don't know how" " You never talk negatively about your partner in the company of others. " "In a couple there is usually one that loves the other more."

He got me Board certified through the A.B.H. but I never kept up my practice and got on with the Army instead. I had thrown out my Hypnosis Institute learning materials years ago. So I am looking for an Ericksonian book that can help me revisit my old interest.

Hebephrenia

Holy shit there is a lot of noise on this blog. Took a look at some past entries. Interesting to come back to all these years later.

Hunter S. Thompson was on my mind earlier. I was curious as to what weapon He used to shoot himself. I could only get it down to caliber. A .45 of some sort. I wonder if the cops took it. The weapon. Or will it lie in the museum they are opening for fans. It should be only right that the gun should be left to the family, but seeing as suicide is considered a crime in many places, I wouldn't be surprised if it was taken.

I'm wearing a HST t shirt right now. I have yet read any of his books but I loved the movies which were semi autobiographical. The narration by Depp in Fear and Loathing was excellent and hilarious. I then watched a couple of documentaries on Hunter S Thompson and found myself a fan of His spirit. I learned that He felt better knowing a way out of this mess via suicide. In AngelTech there is a questionaire and one of the questions is which would you prefer: Slow death or quick decay?

Recently a Veteran I know passed away in Her home of fairly natural causes despite a long time with mental degradation. She was fortunate to have her beloved friends guide her through that transition. She lived to 78. An Heroic dose of Slow death. She remained strong all the way through it. She was a Goddess devoted to Hecate.

Last week I was curious as to how Jeff Ward, the drummer for Nine Inch Nails, Lard and Ministry, went about His business. Apparently, all I found was carbon monoxide poisoning. That usually takes five to fifteen minutes. That isn't as quick as Hunter, but virtually painless. The usual method is by vehicle exhaust in a confined space or by attaching a tube from the exhaust pipe to the window. No word on if this is what Jeff did.

I also came across a anti-psychiatrist Dr. Thomas Szasz. He died by His own hand after suffering a fall. I can find nothing regarding how He did so. He is on my list to read. Don't worry, I can live that long. The idea of lasting long is something I am attached to. Longevity being what it is in this era of pollutants and indulgences, I remain skeptical. Dr. Szasz died at 92. Hunter S. Thompson was 67. Jeff Ward was 30.

I will continue living and seeing this world evolve as I do, but I live with a dark spirit that impedes my concentration and fills it with curious thoughts. However repugnant or vile they may be, that trash and noise is proof of communication. I have already crossed that bridge. These are spirits. Not emanations from some imaginary subconscious.

There is material out there regarding this phenomenon but I haven't gotten that far into it. Hell's Angels is at the library. I will pick it up. Make up for this lack of respect for Hunter S. Thompson. I recently read Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton and I am venturing into Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash. I had been suggested to read it years ago and then it came to mind the other day. The very next day it was on the juvenile shelf laying singled out from the others and I picked it up.

Hiro Protagonist is a swordsman in the book. I found this interesting because I really enjoy studying swordsmanship. I was shown some basic elements by my friend Jesus Garcia back in Hawaii. I would like to take it up again. It took some time and an investment in the wrong DVD but I was able to find the style he was teaching me Eishin Ryu Iaido. There is a signature movement that made it apparent to me. Thank you Jesus.

For now I am working on knife work by practicing drills from this book:

It has been a good read an study implement. My Mom has been doing Tai Chi but I am not certain which style. I found a promising DVD on the Yang style here: https://ymaa.com/publishing/dvd/tai-chi-chuan%E2%80%94classical-yang-style-long-form

It goes through the thirteen postures which aligns with my Lunar predisposition. I have suffered a foot ailment and I am attempting to restore balance. Besides, my footwork needs it. The knife I borrow from the Sikhs. They carry a knife as a spiritual item. My Thelemic leanings into their writings has been nil. Though we keep the four volume set here in the kiblah. I yearn to Honor the Moon. I have read some interesting things. It would be nice to read some more.

Is this Kali yuga?

It's been some time but I am reviving this blog. These days I find myself in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas. Recording here and there, not painting. It has been three years since my last realization coinciding with my introduction of injections. Chemognosis at an expense.

No cell phone. Again. I will miss the maps but it is not my thing anymore. Staying quiet, and making new connections. Walked away from a cult after five or six years. What a head trip. It turned me on to a different existence but ultimately it lacked in various ways which would not facilitate growth. It was a good decision to leave and live another way.

I still reside with the other yet I suspect there are more than one inside. I went into a sweat lodge and had felt the presence of several entities struggling for attachment. I left the lodge and settled by myself and smoked a cigarette. I had an impression come over me while inside that I was experiencing something with my Mother. It was at the very moment that the Medicine Man said the lodge was like the womb of our Mother.

I plan on attending again but I don't know how I feel about sweating. The entities assured me harm if I sought to rid myself of them. Another question asked by a loved one, was whether I was ready to give it up anyway. There are the benefits of a symbiotic relationship. I am eager to see what comes of this. I hope you are doing well dear reader. This is the kali yuga.
